Does anyone have a good, small, compact, light weight, battery/batteries to run a small Lowrance with? Something that will last at least an entire day. Thanks |

I used Cabela's Rechargeable 12-Volt Batteryfor my Lowrance elite 4DSI. It lasts at least two 6 hour days. 8-amp batteries. Leakproof design and maintenance-free operation. Battery measures: 4"H x 6"L X 2-1/2"W. I cut up the plastic box under the twist & loc cover & placed it in there to keep it dry. Other posts under the PA have great photos of how this is done. |

We have a pretty long thread going on battery boxes over on the NWKA site. One guy came up with a Li-ion battery that a few other guys have also bought and are using. The first post mentioning the Li-ion battery is about half way down the page: http://www.northwestkayakanglers.com/index.php?topic=7606.30 |
