I would like to store my new outback up right resting on 4 to 6 inch tubing(like bunk boards on a boat trailer. I'm planning to fabricate a dolly the same height as my pick up tailgate so i can just roll the outback in and out for fishing trips. Will the tubing negate the hull from warping if it's about 6 feet long aligned between the outer sponsons?

I rigged my 5x8 utility trailer with 6" PVC pipes (bunk style) for my 2011 Outback. I stopped a lilttle short of the end and then mounted a boat roller at the end for easy loading & unloading. I did not like the way it sat on the 4" and the 6" gave it more touch points IMO. Very easy to leave it all rigged up and unload.

If it is not on the trailer its in the water. Have had it on the trailer for a few months now (5+) & not even one slight imperfection on the Hull. I do make sure that I unstrap it when resting so that there is no tension pushing into the PVC.

Thanks, 6 inch it will be. I couldn't imagine any difficulties if properly supported. I'm glad to hear from experience.
