Can't tell you guys how much I love fishing from my hobie, but you know because you all have one! First I had a Sport, and in Feb this year I upgraded to the Revo 11. The layout is fairly versatile but I want to start bolting on a few extras now.

I fish offshore in south Florida, do a lot of speed jigging, and trolling on the way to and from jigging spots. I think the first thing I need is more rod holders. I think 2 more would do. So that would give me three rods plus a flag holder (have to make sure the drunk yahoos living out their Miami Vice fantasies can see my kayak in 2-3foot swells). I dont want to do the crate+rodholders because then I couldn't fit the catch bag in the "trunk". Also don't want to clutter the cockpit area with too much because then it would get in the way of the speed jigging, fish landing, and emergency re-entry (had to do this once already 1.5 miles out at sea: Revo11 is tippy!)

Any ideas? I guess I could install two scotty mounts on the raised area (behind the seat) that separates the trunk from the cockpit? additional rod holders would NOT be used for trolling, stock rod holders are good enough for that.

also, I like the idea of this "rocket launcher" pod this other member built:

But then it would certainly need to be strong enough to troll with as it sacrifices the two stock flushmounts...
