Hello...I got my Hobie Outback last month, and there are two big pieces of foam inside...they are not glued-down. Are they supposed to stay inside, or are they supposed to be removed? Thanks... |

The foam blocks are supposed to stay inside. They provide flotation should the hull be compromised. I, like a lot of folks, toss in several pool noodles in addition to the foam blocks that are already there to improve the emergency flotation capability. Enjoy your Outback! |

Keep the foam where it is at in the kayak. The foam gives the plastic extra support and helps the plastic retain its shape. |
