Here is my Hobie Outback, as it is normally rigged:

I have a Swann Freestyle up front on a Panfish Portrait, mounted on Scotty mount...Lowrance Mark-4 fishfinder, on Ram mount. I did the bigger rudder and turbo fins...excellent performance upgrades! I have a small pet food-type container, with a triple rod holder mounted on it, for my tackle/dry storage. Hobie rod extenders on the rear with the cable-cuff homemade leashes. Hobie anchor trolley, with 7' Stick-It Pin for stakeout.

I am lovin' the heck out of this kayak...it has redefined my fishing experience. :D

Nothing quite like having the right tools for the job eh? Good setup!
Also, I dig the low profile baitwell you created for the back (linked from other thread):

Wow, your Outback looks so nice and clean.

I take way too much crap when I go out. Here is what my Outback looks like in a typical smallmouth and sturgeon outing.

90% of what I am carrying is for smallmouth. I just can't seem to leave any lures at home. This winter I need to go through my stuff and really reduce what I take out with me before my Outback collapses in on itself forming a black hole that destroys the earth :)

Elgeebee, I misunderstood, that container in the back is a drybox for you.
I guess different folks have different needs, all the stuff I need to be kept dry goes in a waterproof bag in the front hatch. I go out with the expectation that everything is going to get wet, and all my stuff is leashed in case of a rollover.

Thanks...I plan on eventually converting it to handle baitwell duties as well, but yeah I use it for keeping my stuff dry.

I actually flipped my Outback during an attempted surf landing last month, and it made me rethink my gear-carrying setup...That's why I chose the dry-storage option
