Went back out to the Lagoon. Fishing was good once again. Found some Reds in very shallow water. They were tailing. I managed to sneak up on a school and luckily the camera was on when one of them attacked. Had the wind pushing from behind with a small island of dead grass in front of me. One of the fish was facing the opposite way and allowed me to get real close without spooking him.... The other Redfish hit a Topwater lure. I ended the day with two Reds, a beefy Trout and a psycho Ladyfish.

Looking forward to getting back on the water again......soon!

I would love to try that with a fly rod. Or spinning rod. Or bait caster. :-)

I expect to be in central FL in late Sep or Oct, fishing out of Oak Hill in my Revo 13 and am curious as to what the weather is usually like then. Thanks in advance.

Fall fishing in FL is usually off the chain :!: Once the water temp starts to cool, anyone can catch fish

Islandspeed is right... Fall fishing can be surprisingly good. The bait is already moving thru in big numbers and the trout as well as the Redfish inside the river are thick. The weather is a different story... Just have to try to time it right and fish early in the day.
