Just got a used 06 outback really like the boat but have a few issues.

This thing is really noisy as in hull slap just a little chop makes lot of noise compared to my wilderness. Tried throwing a couple towels in front for sound deadening and didn't help.

Anyone got any fixes for this?

Here in Florida everyone kayak fishes so need to be silent the fish are wise to us.

Thats the Outback for you... I have a 2011 Outback and have the same issues with the "hull slap."

I'm anxious to hear if anyone has fond a fix. Outback wrapped in STS :)

With all of that said, I still love my Outback for fishing!

Try adding 2 gallon jugs of water on top of your towels inside the front hatch to add some weight in the bow.
