Live in Oklahoma and just bought my hobie pro angler 14 April 5 which was friday. Couldn't wait to try it out,but has been raining all weekend. Please Lord let the sun shine

I'm looking at the Pro Angler and the Outback . What was your main reason for the purchasing the Pro Angler ?

The fish don't know it's raining. :lol: Heck, I have had times I caught more fish in the rain. Besides, all the fair weather fishermen head for the dock leaving me all the good spots!

If you are going to spend that kind of money,you might as well get to top of the line. I also bought it for the seat as I have a back problem sometimes. It is a little more stable on the coast.

Is the PA 12 the same speedas the 14/ or slower/faster?

I would hazard to guess the PA-14 is slightly faster owing to a longer water line....but, why would you "speed" since most trolling speeds in lakes and rivers is 1.5 to 2.2 mph?
My PA-14 is ideal for lakes and rivers in Oregon....I think the "hull speed" is under 5 mph.
