Hello all,

I did a search and 8 pages back in 2011 people chimed in wanting to know if there were any plans for a Hobie Camo yak. Matt said not at that time.

I just wanted to ask if this stance has been revisited? I'll be honest. When I was looking to buy a yak the Jackson's with their wide variety of camo immediately sucked me in before I was blown away by the great engineering of Hobie.

For marketing purposes, competitiveness and an added feature it would be slick to see Hobie offer some of their more fishing specific yaks (PA, Outback, etc) in various camo packages.

I know many like their brighter visibility yaks, especially those out on the salt, however I think it would be an added feather in Hobie's cap to offer camo to those of us who would like it as an option.

Still not heading that way. The process and the actual look of the molded camo is not great. The type of camo is very regional. We are more into dressing them with Ghillie or with regional correct foliage or with wraps.

Hi Matt and thanks for the reply.

As a side note many people (in my neck of the woods) in the south wear camo in various varieties as much as a fashion statement as well as for function. Just for what it's worth.

Thanks again for the reply.
