After I finished with the Power-Pole Micro Shallow Water Anchor Install, I then moved on to the next phase of my rigging day, Adding Decals, Gear Tracs and the Lowrance ELITE-5 CHIRP

Hope you find some of the techniques I used helpful.

Enjoy!

New 2015 Outback owner. Enjoyed the pics. Was wandering why the Elite 5 was thinking of a elite 4 myself?

Good question - I've had both the 4 series and 5 series in various Lowrance models over the last 5 years. The 5 series gives a better view when I run split screen or in this case - tri screen. The 4 series is great for single screen but anymore than that and it becomes a little too cluttered for me. Others may differ, but its more of a personal preference.

I was thinking of a 7 series when I had my Pro Angler to be honest, but the switch to the Outback convinced me to keep it at the 5 series.

Caught your ? on the Elite 5 vs Elite 4. I made one five-day trip with the 4. Came home, went back to my supplier and bought a 5. The 4 is way too small to check at a glance and has to be mounted too close to see readily. The 5 is much more versitile.

Nice setup! 8)

I'd like to get some decals for my PA-12, but they seem hard to find!

Go to Car Sticker Decals on your puter. I have been using their decals on my Hobies for years. They are extremely durable. Here in the high country of Colorado the UV eats things. Their decals seem impervious to wind, water, sun. They are very easy to apply. Pay the couple bucks extra and get the plastic applicators, beats using a credit card to smooth out. Hundreds of choices. I like the cat with the catfish in it's claws. Receive lots of great comments.

My rigs are named "Hobie-Cat!"
