Trying to install the transducer for a lowrance elite 5 hdi and didn't get the metal clips and plastic pieces that the manual shows you need to attach it to the lowrance cover plate. Did anyone so this? If so could you possibly post a pic or 2? Does anyone know if those parts come from hobie or lowrance? Thanks for any help.

They were in a bag with the manual and a few other small items in my '15 TI. The packet was inside the hull when shipped from Hobie. (I was at the kayak shop and helped unload my TI from the semi then rig it up.)

Thanks Joe. I asked several shops and they are all telling me the only thing that comes in the manual packet is the different plugs for the thru hull wiring

I got those as well.

For mounting the transducer I got a few pairs of spacers with different pitch/width teeth on one side - I guess to mate with different brands of transducer - and a bar on the other side. You put the pair on either side of the transducer's mounting hole and the bars slide into the fingers of the Lowrance-ready tray under the kayak. Then there is a long bolt and nut (and washers? Can't remember for sure.) to hold everything in place.

I'm almost positive that came with the kayak. I did also buy an extra thru-hull plug kit and the battery kit.

They do come in the manual packet. Along with the rubber plugs for different sized wires.
