Hey Brad,
Very nice job on the Revo--looking good! You going to be able to make our Tournament over here on the 27 Jan? If so, hope to meet up with you then. Also enjoyed checking out your Web site--very cool! Hope the move didn't mess things up too much for you.
Best,
Dick

sunjammers,

Did you have any problems mounting the flushmount on the rail or is that area in front of the mesh pocket just about the right size on both rails?

Make sure you install your rod holder on the opposite side that you usually enter your yak. I am right handed and like to enter/exit from the port side so I mounted my forward rod holder on the starboard side. If you will be paddling your yak in and out of the surf, make sure you install a rod holder that will not get in your way as well. On the Adventure there is factory mounted hardware that I use to connect my rod leash on the starboard side. If the Revo has that as well, feel up in there to make sure it does not interfere with the mounting hardware for your rod holder. I was only to completely secure 3 of the four screws to my ram base because I did not check for that.

No I had no problems mounting that there. I am about to add one to my new ride as well. I am thinking of adding the flush on both sides so I can have the option of what side to put the holder on.

Thank you very much. Going with the flushmount on both sides just to increase options was my thought also.
