I'm looking into getting a PA12 this Spring. I am concerned about the Lowrance ready mount. It seems to limit the type of transducer due its size. Is Hobie making any mold adjustments to make the Elite TI more user friendly on install?

I could use some advice on your preferred sonar and install. I'm looking to not do too much in modification but desire the best options for viewing. The more I read, I trend to feel to wait and see if Hobie makes any Lowrance ready adjustments. I appreciate your comments. Thank you.

Any 2D/DI transducer fits.

Anyway Totalscan wouldn't work in the cavity...

Thank you for the reply. I do want the Totalscan option, so does someone have experience with the install with few to no hull drillings modifications?

Hobie's Lowrance Ready TotalScan transducer plate (part no. 72020207, retail $34.99) is available as an accessory for mounting the TotalScan transducer from Lowrance.
