Hi all!
We have a Passport 10.5, and my husband is looking to get a fish finder for it. My parents caught wind of that, and went out and bought him a Humminbird Piranha Max 4 PT portable fish finder for the holidays. It has a suction cup transducer.
Everything I have seen from Hobie talks about Lowrance units with either rudder or over-the-side installs for the 10.5. Is the portable/suction cup transducer a bad idea? If so, what unit would you recommend instead?
As an aside, does anyone have experience using the Humminbird Piranha Max 4 PT portable fish finder, and how did it work for you?
