Hi there. I have a 2021 Revo 13 that I'm looking at installing the Scotty base in the mesh pocket on the right side and a downrigger mount in the mesh pocket on the left side.
Has anyone here successfully installed rod holders/downriggers in these locations? Any pit falls to avoid or advice you have before drilling?
My worry is the rod holder will be too close to my legs/knees when pedaling. Although, I plan on using the scotty extension arm to raise up the rod.
The goal is to have the rod with extension on the right side, then the rod sits cross-body to the downrigger on the left side. I just want to ensure my legs won't be impeding this set up (6' tall).
I also have the scotty back plate and bolts, since the sides in the mesh pocket seem to be accessible. Would love to see pics of your set up as well!
