Jim sammons has set up the most detailed and fair record keeping section for kayak angler available on the net.
a lot of discussion and debate went into the making of these record classes and many thanks to jim for his tireless commitmment to the kayak comunity.
he has three classes available to kayak anglers.
1) traditional kayak angling: this is the pure form of the sport. paddle out and back from beach catch and land unassisted
2) modified kayak angling: this is for those who use a modified kayak either it has sails or out riggers. must catch and land unassisted. many of the hobie kayaks have the possibility to be modified and this section pertains to a lot of hobie anglers.
3) assisted kayak angling: for those who use a motor on there yak or take a mother ship to the zone or have help in landing the fish
please support this site its the best thing out there dedicated to trying to keep kayak angling records. plus its a lot of fun to see what other big fish are beig caught and you never know you just might have a potential record. once agian thanks jim for such an accurate and detailed record keeping site dedicated to kayak angling. here is the link to the record site
