They are scared of man? I would not like to release that gator from the hog trap.

Me neither. I think I would just build a new hog trap. Give that one to the state :D

I will try to find that story about them being scared of men. They scare the heck out of me and when I see them I give them my utmost respect. What makes them leave the area is to slap the tip of you pole in the water. I fear even small gators.

PS Some sharks to. And weird fish that have spines all over them. Puffers, Blowfish, On land porcupines, gators, skunks, Wild Stupid Hogs. All Snakes. Check out what this porcupine did to this dog.

That is a stupid and aggressive dog. I have had two hunting dogs that had encounters with a porcupine neither got it that bad.

What can I say somebody sent me them pictures. I would say pit bulls don't know when to quit. But you know all them quills to the head had to hurt. Most Dogs would have ran at 5 - 10 quills but not them.

Here are some more that Delsol took at Brazoria Wildlife Refuge. This Gator has a crazy look in his eyes like he might hurt somebody.

Not to worry. Some folks may keep them for house-pets…

Image

Others keep them for swamp-pets.

But most of us have found that if we stay out of their way, they will stay out of ours…

But it doesn't matter how big they are , a feed of cane toads , and they die an agonising death .
The cane toad is working across the north of Australia , and killing all before it , including crocs.
I'm hoping to go up soon with a group of fellow Vietnam vets , and slowing their advance down some.
If you want to read about it , check out www.canetoads.com.au .
Regards Rob J.
