Caught trolling a C10 Redfin, what a blast! Fish were in the 12 -15lb range.

GOD! I love that lake. I just spent a week at mountain harbor resort in between 11/18 and 11/22. I took my Hobie Wave and had a blast.

Nice fish!

Love that lake (did I say that already?)!

I'm very happy living here, there are many good fishing lakes and rivers, but Lake Ouachita is by far the best in my opinion. It's like going back in time.

Here's some pics from 11/23. Notice I quit trying to fit stripers in the livewell. I bought a stringer instead and it worked really well. If I could only train the fish to tow me in the direction I want!

Great fish!, bit surprised to find that stripers can trive in fresh water too!

Related to our bass, which is a seasonal immigrant here, but only to be caught in the salt(ish)

Googled for your lake and stringer pole but couldn`t find this specific one, looks a far better option than stuffing them in the livewell (isn`t that ment for baitfish anyway?)

Stripers thrive in many lakes and rivers in Arkansas, the Game and Fish Commission has a very successful stocking program, since the striped bass can't spawn in fresh water.

Many 50lb+ fish have been caught in lakes here. I think the state record is currently at Beaver Lake in Northwest Arkansas and is close if not more than 60lbs.

I fished on Lake Hamilton this past Sunday, but only caught a few baby size stripers, and a largemouth.
