Also got in a little sailing.

Overall a great day. Landed 2 Redfish at 29" and 32", 1 Black Drum at 27", and the biggest Sheepshead I've ever caught at 20".

Dude....thats awesome...
Those are my stompin' grounds...
I went out Saturday and landed a nice red as well....lost something else that didnt realize I had a line in it.
Got lotsa bluegills(budlight) though....

All in all, it was a real good day.

If you were out Sunday, that wind had to be beatin' ya to death out there.

Grats on the nice fish.

Synovis- Thanks! We're going to hit it again on Friday and Sunday. If you're interested let me know. We'll probably launch at White Point and sail out to the MidBay bridge around 6am each day.

You were right, the wind was rough Sunday! We had to constantly fight to stay in position behind the bridge pilings but it paid off. When the bite slowed down we stowed the fishing gear and sailed over to the Destin bridge and back. I kept my sail reefed to about 1/3 size so my buddy in his Outback (with sail kit) could keep up. It was probably a bit too much wind and waves to be out in and we paid the price. I lost a sail batten and my buddy in the Outback bent his new mast. We were going up and down in the swells so much I felt like I was still in the boat the next day.

All in all though, good times!
