Hard to believe. I am open water fishing in November in Southcentral Alaska and all because of my Hobies. Too icy and winter like to be towing a seaworthy boat for 200 miles of mountain passes. But a truck topped kayak? No problem!!!

The latest I have ever caught edible salmon in Alaska....powerboat or not and I have been fishing this area since 1971!!!!!. Thank you Hobie!!!!

I can't see the video from here at work. Where were you fishing? I would assume Valdez from the South Central Alaska comment. I lived down in Cordova (below Valdez) on the Prince William Sound for a few years. I absolutely loved the place. I wish I would have been into kayak fishing when I was there. It sure would've opened up a few more opportunities for me. I plan on moving back up there one day when I retire and will have a "fleet" of Hobies when I do!!

I was fishing right off the Homer Spit. I did KILL cohos in Valdez during Labor Day weekend! I have a non commercial website for Southcentral Alaska KAyak Fishing that I am updating as I go along. http://AlaskaKayakFisher.com Also my blogs of recent fishing can be found at: http://guidesak.blogspot.com

These kayaks and espcially the Hobies have revolutionized fishing for me!! Just Awesome!!!

Here's a few from the trip with videos! pics!
