Hi Instigator, Those "few waves" look quite substantial to me! I ve never been in something like that yet in my oasis. It surely looks like fun. Your i12 seems to be a very stable craft indeed! |

The way out was easy .. The i12 is surprisingly stable ... but... The way back I flipped .. twice . It is near impossible to keep the kayak straight surfing a 8+ ft wave, then you go broadside and if the wave is breaking.... over it goes.. unfortunately no videos on the way back ... i was busy... |

When your camera panned over to the returning yacht, it looked like he had all he could handle. From what I read those inlets can be very nasty and this looked like one of those times! Obviously you were well prepared -- you must have tethered yourself to the boat. Hope you didn't lose anything!
