Hello, I recently got the official Hobie sail for my Adventure (not Island) and am wondering if I should make sure to remove the batten rod before rolling it up - or if it was designed to be flexed and rolls up fine?

Thanks for any feedback.

It is fine to roll the sail on the mast. The batten twists and flexes to allow for this.

Yeah, rolling the sail with the batten inside is fine - just be sure to check the lines that hold in the battens each time before you sail with it. Sometimes the line will work loose and the batten may start to creep out with use.
