Launching and landing through the surf is a challange in my 2009 Outback. I was wondering if having the the ama's on during these times would help keep the kayak more stable, or if the action of the surf may damage them or the mounts? |

I wouldn't use them during surf launches and landings. Best to have the paddle out and use that for power, steering and bracing. |
