Great posts. thanks.

I'm showing them to my wife

fusioneng....I've kayaked Lido many times, and did the upper Braden two weekends ago from the reservoir to Linger Lodge. If you see a tandem with a sail later this fall, it might be me.

This Malibu was owned by my friend.

But when he got on my Adventure Island, The Malibu was launched for sale. At present he owns two Hobie kayaks - Adventure & Tandem Islands. :)

By the way, at the moment these are the only Islands in Bulgaria :)

Having searched on the internet and NOT found kayaksailor.com, I'm really glad you posted your pics so that we could see the logo.

The guy has an interesting product, and an interesting kayaking blog well.

http://kayaksailor.com/

His sail kit isn't cheap, and isn't specifically designed for Hobies, yet it seems to have all the sail rigging that some Hobie enthusiasts are creating on their own.

It's a true boom type sail, and comes with mounting rig that would allow you to put the sail in the FRONT of your kayak.

Here's a link to his video showing the sail in action. http://www.kayaksailor.com/gallery_video_alone.html

Interesting. and damn it looks cold in the NW!

Here are some pictures from the new owner of the sails. The feeling is not even close to that with the Hobie Islands, but it is a good alternative for those who have already bought another kayak and want to have sails.
