Greetings all.......Lostsailor here,
I have moved my sidekick crossbar mounting location from behind the seat to just forward of the mirage drive and aft of the mast on my 2009 Outback. This position works great and allows me to complete for a full paddle stroke. The down side of this move was the pre drilled holes are now aligned directly under the mounting brackets. For a temporary fix I drilled a single 3/8 hole 180 degrees out from the center pre drilled hole. What I would like to do, is cut a new straight crossbar 3 inches longer than the stock one which would allow the two end pieces to be fully inserted. Does anyone know what size tubing is used for the side kick crossbar? Would hobie sell this material in longer lengths?

Thanks, cheers !
