Hi all,

I'm looking at setting up my Revo with a set of outriggers, primarily for sailing, but I'd also use them when fishing for some extra stability.

The Hobie sidekick kit is one option, but I think the outriggers arms (AKAS?) look a little bit flimsy - particularly where they join to the centre-bar.

From what I saw it looks like the same nylon insert that was used on the older alloy paddles.

Has anyone managed to break, bend or otherwise wreck their sidekick AKAS or am I worrying unnecessarily? :-)

Cheers,

Mike.
