I want to build or buy a furling device for mast on my Revo. Any suggestions? I have the standard sail kit and furling by hand is a drag! Please advise.
Thanks....

I did a search and found this older thread where another user built one himself.

Can't buy one, ya gotta make one. Mine is similar to the one shown in Jbernier's link. Pretty easy to make if you know which end of the screwdriver to hold.

That was a very early mod which is simplified here:

Revo_1756 simplified it even more here:

You may also want to check out Halibu's mod mentioned in the thread. It seems popular with many users, but I haven't tried it.

On my 2011 Outback, I was able to utilize the exsisting bolt holes on both front sides of the Yak. (The rudder up and down lines)

1. Purchased the Hobie Anchor kit and utilized the included Harken Blocks.
a. Had to make the bolt holes in the Harken block a tad bit larger to fit the exsisting bolt size.
b. Purchased a 1.5" bolt/same width as the existing ones.
c. Make sure you only undo one bolt at a time!

Wala- works flawlessly!
