Post subject:  Suggestions for float arm length

Reading the posts it seems that people have used 30" and the longer 40 or 45 inch arms.
Was thinking the 45's might be better as mentioned in a post above pretty much the ratio of the Adventure Island.

Any advice or comments appreciated

Because I made my own I made them adjustable in two in increments. So from flush with the side of the PA14 to having the outside of the float at 5 feet from the center of the boat for extreme stability.

Thanks for the input I am assuming that at five foot it does not over stress the bar to hull connection?

I was thinking wider was better all things being equal I like your concept of adjustable arms

Hey, AllElectricPA14:

How did you mount the trolling motor shaft in the Mirage drive well plug? Neat boat!
