Be aware the AMA side kick pontoon posts that connect the pontoon to the yak are only glued together. I found this out last Sunday while sailing my outback in the ocean at Sandy Hook in NJ. The glue got wet, obviously and it doesn't hold after that allowing the post to slide right out of the pontoon tube. I was left 8 miles from my destination without the right side which fell off and disappeared before I knew it.
I'm waiting for a reply from Hobie to see if they will make this right and replace it.
I HIGHLY recommend you drill and pin these so you don't get into trouble like I did.

Hey Scrumpy, you ever try to sail and fish at the same time? I'm looking for some advice on this.
