Boat Registration Required?

Post subject:  Boat Registration Required?
I have a Pro Angler 14 and was wondering if registration was required in the state of Florida for adding a sail. ....... Any ideas? Read about California and have been looking around but I am not able to find specifics for the State of Florida.

Angler:
No you only need to register if you add a trolling motor. If you go to the dmv website it also talks about boats 16 ft or longer needing to register. My TI is 18.5 ft but I know of nobody that has registered their TI unless they have a motor. To be honest if I bought an evolve I wouldn't bother registering my kayak, I'm sure most don't in Florida anyway ( lots of evolves here)
