Here are some closer views of the sail secured and ready to mount. I have a permanent loop installed on the front hatch bungee to keep the mast base in place.
With practice, it takes about 30 seconds to mount the sail or take it down and furl it.
Of course, I separate the mainsheet from the sail and pre-rig it, then attach it with a snap hook when it's time to set up the sail:
To secure the furled sail, I keep a "tail" handy to snap on and hook:
If you're not familiar with it, there is a little hook on the sail that the knot slips over and locks onto to keep it furled. This will become clearer with you see the sail.
