Sorry, no pix or video. The kid was acting up.

Took my AI out for my first ride in full AI mode on southern Lake Michigan. What a blast. Water temp in the low 60's. Air temp in the 80's. Sunny and mostly clear.

A 10 knot wind turned to 15, 2 hours later. 2 foot waves turned to 4. Out in deep water I was having a blast punching through the occasional capper. I never buried an ama (got close!), but my front deck spent alot of time underwater.

One Sunfish sailor asked as I crossed paths if it was fast. I turned 180, powered through irons, and caught him in about 5 min. He said, "Ya, I guess it's fast!".

Did not upgrade the rudder yet, but I did feel the weather helm! I will upgrade today!

On the beach, Every Sunfish sailor wanted to know what the heck my boat was. I had 4 people crowd around looking, poking, and prodding. Same on the water.

All were jealous of my roller furling. Why would someone not have roller furling? The pain the Sunfishs go through is beyond me. I sailed 'Sunnys' in a formal course, and I will never deal with that again!

Just wanted to share
