SideKick - why do the amas stay right-side-up?

Post subject:  SideKick - why do the amas stay right-side-up?

Obviously the SideKick works as designed, but I can't figure out what is keeping the amas from pinwheeling from contact with the water instead of staying right-side-up? What causes them to stay right-side-up?

Why don't they pin wheel?

That is due to the length and taper sloped up the front. They offer more buoyancy the more they sink. Until the tip goes under, there would be nothing to trip the nose.
