Sunday we rigged the Jib with the Roller Furler, it appears the Jib halyard is ran the same as the 18's back down inside the zipper and tied off at the bottom. I tied the halyard directly to the loop on the cable however, when the cable met the zipper at the top of the jib it was very difficult to get it to feed into the zipper tube. The thimble on the cable is the stock one that was on the original halyard cable, should this be a smaller thimble or is there some other trick to feed the cable into the fabric tube created by the closed zipper?

Cheers!

On the 18 it can be hard with a fresh zipper... you just need to make sure the wad is streamline before feeding it through the tube. Sometimes you need to work it a bit. an image of the end of your halyard would probably help.
