Post subject:  How do right a turtled H20?

I pitch poled my H20 for the first time this past weekend. Lucky it did not go turtle, learned that the boat is pretty easy to right even with the mast facing into the wind and the boat being blown toward a rocky shore. I have never turtled a hobie, worried that if that happens, I will lose my boat as I do not know what to do to get it up again once it is up side down. Hoping someone here can describe the process. Thanks Ryan

Stand on the lee side and the lee hull if possible. You want the wind to get under the weather side and help lift. The sails act like a sea anchor and the hulls get pushed down wind. The boat should slowly rotate up onto it's side. Sometimes sinking the transoms helps, but you risk slipping off.

Really no different than the 18 Ryan......except the 20 comes up much easier.
