Does anyone have any tips on how to keep the Jib Sheet from twisting around itself? When we sheet in tight the Jib Sheet twists around itself between the jib clew attachment blocks and the jib blocks.

Thanks!

Maybe switch to a single braid line like New England bzzz or Swiftcord?

What it sounds like is the inner braid of a double braid line is twisting inside the cover and this causes a kink.

Try untying the line and dragging it behind the boat for a while. Sometimes this will make them behave better.

Ron has a good point, especially if you've just replaced the sheet.
Past line purchases I "thought" were going to make a good sheet never calmed down.

You've everything rigged right? Through the barber hauler blocks? Using a pigtail?

I have this same problem on my 16 jib line... is that a real tip or tongue in cheek joke? Sounds crazy enough to be an actual thing.

I have seen it work... Personally I gave up and went to swiftcord on the front of the boat, and Salsa at the main. I won't be going back, it is a massive upgrade IMO.

There just isn't a need for a double braid line, not with some many easier to handle choices around. Even the most expensive lines don't add up to much on a H16
