I just replaced my mast bast sheave for the main halyard along with the spacer. It is a tight, not snug fit. The sheave does not spin like a pulley sheave. Is this how its designed?? The one on my recently purchased boat was a smaller sheave with a gap allowing the halyard to jam between the spacer and the sheave, but it would spin. Another 20 on my beach has a smaller width, close to same diameter sheave, with plastic ball bearings for the main halyard mast base block. Did I get sent the wrong part or is this sheave supposed to be "slider" instead of a "turner"? It will not turn/spin like the sheave on every other block.
