Double Block Configuration for Spin Sheet

anyone (Matt, Mike?) know if the track that is riveted alongside the tramp is strong enough to hold the block for the spin sheet? we want to put one there and then mount another on the front crossbar. otherwise we will put the first block on the side of the rear crossbar. any other recommended double block configurations? thanks seth.

The trampoline track is not designed for a load pulling up, so that might be questionable. The location of the aft block is critical to the spin shape though. I would rather modify something to work for the block mount than mount the block in the wrong place. With the Hobie made chute, we used to mount it on the aft outboard cross bar bolt. We used a Hobie 16 bow tang.

My tiger chute is sheeted to the shroud anchor point. I use a bell shackle to hold the adjuster plate. Some of the tiger guys are moving the sheeting point to the front crossbar as the newer chutes have a longer leech and a shorter foot. You can use the old barbar hauler to adjust the sheet forward if you need to as the barbar hauler is not used with the chute.

With a big chute, I just tied the blocks to the rear crossbar. Nothing to chew you up Did run a turning block in the tramp/jib track. With a Tiger chute, you will definitely be on the shrouds or forward.
