Must have been the wind hitting the tramp, 20 knts., I'll be sailing in the surf in a month and am a little concerned about turtling in the shallows/surf. Is a baby bob enough?, to keep the mast up along with making sure it's waterproofed. I'm having a blast on this thing and I certainly don't mind flipping, if it wasn't so gusty I'm sure I could have saved it. I like riding the hull high. I'm not a bob guy at all and certainly not a milk jug guy, but I don't want to turtle everytime I go over and would like to go with the smaller bob if possible. Just wondering if it's enough flotation. The 16 sits more to 12 o'clock on it's side compared to the 20, I guess because of the increased beam, which doesn't help.
