Anyone here in Div. 2 interested in racing the wave? If so, I'd be willing to bring my wave to the Div. 2 regattas. It would nice to get something started here on the West Coast. With the typical winds in Big Bear, that would be great place to sail a Wave.

There have been a couple of times that the Wave has tried to get started as a class in this circuit. The people behind that were Carl Wagner, Teri McKenna, and Doug Skidmore. If they are watching this forum maybe they know of others involved. I did see Roger Brown on a boat with his boy at a Long Beach regatta, I think it was last year.

I know all the kids liked it. I do not know why it is not still happening.

I just realized that I do not know if you are talking about introducing this for Kids or getting others on the boat? I know that there is a large contigent of Waves in Florida that race. Most of our (West Coast) Wave events were to involve the kids.

Later,
Dan
