Richard speak to Charles - his tramp was the tightest at Malawi - the sides were left loose to help with the waves - keeps tramp a little higher.

release the side and back. Then tension the corners. Next lace the back tight. Then tighten the side loops.

Thanks for the replies, but my question should have been more specific. How do you pull the ropes at the back of the tramp tight? is there or tool or do you just use your hands?
thanks
ps i'll speak to Charles also

I pull with some blunt nose pliers - carefully so that you don't damage the chord but it works really well and you don't rip up your hands. :D

I use an S Hook attached to an old trapeze handle to get a good grip on it.
