I was told the new style rudder stops aren't available. The white blocks on top of the gudgeon not the black rubber circles. Should I just make my own?

I'd just make em, if it's all the same. How do you like the new rudders? Does it really make a difference in speed or just rudder feel? My boat is older, 2002 and I'm trying to figure out what upgrades I should do for next year. I've already added a SNU, new rigging, newer mainsail ( a nice ST , not STX unfortunately) a new battened jib, and just generally cleaning up the deck layout and controls for ease of sailing. I dont want to spend too much ( more! ) money as I'll probably upgrade to a Wildcat for 2012. Whachoo think?

I like the new rudders. more responsive and easier to sail with. Tacking seams to improve and less helm while going to weather.
