Hey all,

I've just removed the single line spin-tack setup and separated them but I'm looking for feedback on where to run the tack line and how to secure it. Pictures would be nice if you gots em.

Thanks in advance

Hey Blair,

If you don't want to drill any more holes in your front crossbar just use the existing cleat from the original setup for the tack line. I used to tie off the tach line end loosely around the starboard side hiking strap using a bowline knot and larger loop when I had my Tiger.

Is your spin halyard cleat on the mast?

Hey John,

Yeah, I moved my spin cleat to the mast. I don't mind drilling and riveting a new cleat for the tack line, but should it be in close to the mast? I guess that having it there is a straight shot down the spin pole, and then I can lead the line back to the starboard side like you said, so you can grab it coming off the wire on starboard. Cool

My tack line cleat is between the self tacker supports. Approx 21 inches out from the mast step or 28 inches in from the end of the beam. Even between the outer and inner self tacker mounts. Stock location for a 2007 model.
