Any wisdom to offer, Tiger guys?

Im sailing at the F18 NAs next week and Ive always felt as though other boats were out pointing us to weather.

I think I had some rudder toe in issues which may have been putting the brakes on a bit, forcing us to foot off more, but I think I have that resolved. We sail at about 360lbs so not the lightest team out there.

Ive been keeping it raked to the middle part of the non-skid on the transom for most 12-18knots, one hole forward on the forestay for lighter days to add some power.

Any help is appreciated!!!

We raked way further back than that - but at 360 lbs, you might suffer in marginal trap conditions.
However I think you'll be OK - it should be windy there this time of year - and in a blow there isn't anything 'slow' about the Tiger Upwind!!! They still rock!!!

So if we still feel we have plenty of power double trapped, but lacking height against the fleet, add a bit more rake?

I would...yes, also you might want to check this forum too for many tuning tips - or search for my post history - I have put a ton of tuning tips from our Tiger here somewhere.

Good luck at NA's - should be a fun time!!!
