I actually had a seam fail where the deck attaches to the hull. I did not even see it. Pete Melvin, while walking around my boat, thought that the gap was too big. We took a sharp object and it poked right through. It was about 2 feet long. I sealed it by jamming screwdrivers in there to make the gap large enough to get some resin mixed with coloidal silica. I glopped it in there. When I pulled the prys out I put some weight on top to keep the deck down and cleaned off excess.
I get water when it is really windy now but have not yet taken the air and soap to it. I will this weekend, now that I remember.
Later,
Dan
