A few questions from what I have seen so far.

It looks like having the regatta in July is a big complaint. People say they wanted an event in the fall. People also say they didn’t want the Tiger event to conflict with F18s which are taking place in the fall. Is there a bit of a contradiction here?

It looks like the perceived (if not actual) high wind conditions in the area was also a big concern. It was decided that the regatta would be at St Francis in July last year. Did anyone speak up about this earlier?

Talking about combining F18s and Tigers. I don’t exactly see how this addresses the problem we just encountered at the Tiger NAs unless it is to say that Tiger sailors don’t want their own championship. Could that be right?

I don't see a problem with having more than one regatta in the fall as long as they are not within a week of each other. September - October is a great time to hold a major event. It is also a nice goal to work towards during the racing season in the summer.

I'm all for allowing F18s into the local Hobie regattas to race against the Tigers, but I think I would still like to have a Tiger only national championship.

Just my two cents.

One Question
Are these the people we want to hang out with on the weekends?
And I’ve seen too much of this to believe the “one bad appleâ€

Yeah, and if you read the whole thread, he was busted for trolling.
