We sail a 2010 wildcat recently we hit and broke a short daggerboard we bought the new one (long) and in the past 3 - 4 month we broke 3 long one...at winds even below 10 knots... any info? Where can we get the short daggerboards? THX |

Very important to use the trim sheet in the owner manual that shows how much board to lift up in use - only down all the way in under trapeze conditions - once you start to trap you must lift them - here's a link to the manual: http://static.hobiecat.com/digital_asse ... ev2012.pdf Page 47 & 48 show these details To order 'short boards (which aren't as fast in light air upwind - but you don't need to pull them up quite as far so it's a trade off if you really just can't stand having the boards sticking up) short old style boards can still be purchased from any Hobie Catamaran dealer - part number is F18759010 |
