We sail a 2010 wildcat recently we hit and broke a short daggerboard we bought the new one (long) and in the past 3 - 4 month we broke 3 long one...at winds even below 10 knots...

Where can we get the short daggerboards?

Very important to use the trim sheet in the owner manual that shows how much board to lift up in use - only down all the way in under trapeze conditions - once you start to trap you must lift them - here's a link to the manual: http://static.hobiecat.com/digital_asse ... ev2012.pdf

Page 47 & 48 show these details

To order 'short boards (which aren't as fast in light air upwind - but you don't need to pull them up quite as far so it's a trade off if you really just can't stand having the boards sticking up) short old style boards can still be purchased from any Hobie Catamaran dealer - part number is F18759010
