As you may have heard, the powers that be have done away with the multihull event for the 2012 Olympics. Tomorrow there will be a teleconference to discuss this. If anyone wants to participate you need to come up with a representative for your fleet or division, and make sure to keep comments brief, concise, and respectful. It has been warned that this call will not be allowed to degrade. US SAILING Multihull Council Special Meeting Agenda 6:00 PM EST – 4 December 2007 Via Teleconference Call-in instructions: The call-in number is (605)475-4333. Establish a Quorum and determine voting members. III. Review of the Minutes and Reports from the October 2007 Meeting. IV. Old business 1. Mid-term appointments of Area Representatives. A. Tom Siders – Area B (2009) B. Tad Pecorak – Area D North (non-voting position) C. Adam Borcherding – Area G (2009) V. New business 1. Multihull Council current status. A. Presentation of current benefits of US SAILING Membership (see Attachment 1). B. Inventory of MHC and Championship assets (see Attachment 2). 2. Discussion of probable developments in 2008. A.
