Post subject:  Fernridge Regatta NOR

It's heresy, I tell you! Posting an "open" regatta on a Hobie website. I should be keel-hauled. But these guys seem pretty cool. I bet their regatta is just as cool! Here is an unformatted version of the NOR.

We went last year. It was fun but we really appreciate one-design racing now. We were middle of the pack and it sucked to be left behind by some and then have to wait 30+ minutes after each race for the slowest to finish...

Great place and nice people though. It's the Grass Seed Capitol of the World, which means that at the time of the regatta, it's the Allergy Capitol of the World too - I was fine sailing but miserable at all other times.

I attended this regatta a few years back and it was a great time.
Realatively warm water sailing. Good winds and the air temp then was in the 80's. For us that is worth the trip.

Count me in this year, traveling from Seattle to Eugene Oregon.

See ya there.
